When I P.R.A.Y....I need to repent.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." - John 1:9 NIV

Last week, we focused on praising God in our prayers. That's the easy part of prayer, we just sometimes neglect to do it. This week, however we focus on repentance.....saying we're sorry.

So, why is it so important to repent for our sins? Sin hurts God's heart and separates us from God. When we ask for forgiveness, God forgives us and makes our hearts right with Him. Once you give your sin to God, He WILL forgive you!
