I Know That I Am Rich....

" I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need." - Phillipians 4:12 (ESV)

Lot's of money does not make a person "rich"! At least not the kind of wealth that God intends for us to have. In Philippians 4:12 Paul states that "and this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches."

Today the kids learned that having lots of money and "things" are not what's really important and does not necessarily make you rich. You can know that you are rich because God gives you exactly what you need, food, a home, your family and friends and so much more. The love of a Father in heaven and the gift of Jesus Christ is all the wealth we really need.
