THY WILL BE DONE.....

Great lesson from one of the kids this week. I asked one child if they got what they wanted for Christmas. The response was "Santa must not have gotten the message". My guess, was that what they wanted for Christmas didn't appear under the tree Christmas morning. It is difficult to NOT get what we ask for, but yielding to the giver is exactly what we should be doing.

When we ask God for what we want, and that means everything, we should be asking with a heart that says "not my will, but thy will be done". After all, God knows what is best for us.

My prayer is that you sit down and PRAY with your children everyday. Teach them to communicate with their Father in heaven, who LOVES THEM ALL VERY MUCH!!
